About Us:
Bluegrass 1101 consists of Danny Campbell on guitar and Brian Hicks on banjo. Danny and Brian have been playing together since September 2004. Occassionally, Bluegrass 1101 also features a guest bass player. See "PRESS" page for more information.
Danny Campbell lives in Lansing, NC. He has been playing guitar all his life, and has been pursuing it seriously for the past six years. He has recently been competing in flat picking contests. When he is not playing, he works as an oil furnace technician. He has been very active in flat pick guitarcompetitions, see "PRESS" page for more information.
Brian Hicks lives in Todd, NC, where he owns and operates Ashe Land Surveyors. He has been playing banjo for around seven years.
